On 3, 4 and 5/6, BENIAMIN’s scheduled visits to all beneficiary families living in the Athens area were successfully completed.

The conditions created by the pandemic were and are difficult for everyone

us. Especially for single parent families supported by BENJAMIN and

they are experiencing real difficulties.

The visits were carried out by the mother’s manager, Mrs. Apatsidou

Nikoleta, the BENJAMIN’s President Mr Aristidis Petridis and also Mr Adamopoulo

George, Social Worker

The visit to each of the families was aimed at obtaining thorough information about the daily life at home, the activities in which the mother and the children are involved, as well as the unique needs of each one. During the visit, there was direct communication with the scientific staff, the already existing information about the beneficiary mothers was enriched and an even greater relationship of trust was created.

The joy of these families when they opened the door of their house and ours

witnessed is not described. In the isolation and its frantic rhythms

of the capital, they felt what the word comfort mean.

feelings forgotten came to nestle in their heart and feel that

we are next to them even though we are separated by many kilometers.

What we definitely got from this trip are the smiles, the hearts

hugs but above all the sense of relief we saw in their eyes which was our greatest reward.
